Lakbay-1, an experimental mobile robot project, was presented again by Michael Balcos to some students at the Science and Technology Institute (STI), Cubao. For information on Lakbay-1, please see the Projects section of this website. STI's first two schools were inaugurated in August 21, 1983. It offered basic programming courses then. Now, it offers basic (pre-elementary, primary and secondary) and tertiary education.
